Combat Options

CHASE: yes no
Automatically chase foes who flee from you during combat? Choosing YES is aggressive; if you catch a fleeing foe you can continue the fight. Choosing NO is playing it safe.

STRIKEBACK: yes no
Automatically attack anyone who attacks you, if combat is not already going on? If you intend to be aggressive, enter YES. Otherwise, enter NO. (If you enter NO, you may also want to set FLEE, below, to a number equal to your hits, so you flee as soon as you are attacked.)

REVENGE: yes no
Automatically attack the last person who actually HIT you while combat is going on? Choosing YES may divide your attacks between multiple attackers; pick NO here if you're not sure what you want.

FLEE: yes no
Automatically flee during combat if your hits fall below a certain level? Picking YES here will make you run away when you're hurt badly enough. If you pick NO, you're either planning to fight to the death, or you'll be typing FLEE manually when things go against you.
If you chose FLEE=yes, you must enter a number here: It must be less than the number of hit points you have. Note that if you enter 0 here, you'll flee automatically as soon as you are attacked!

AUTOSTOP: yes no
Automatically stop fighting if the person fighting you stops? Choosing NO is aggressive. Choosing YES lets you stop to negotiate if your opponent stops.
